Functional Range of Motion

Anton RMT goes beyond just the typical modalities and techniques of most massage therapy clinics by focusing more on Functional Range of Motion that resolves the anatomy train, referral pain pattern or dysfunction rather than just providing temporary relief for the symptom.  In most cases Anton finds that the majority of people live with some form of muscular pain or ache or a range of motion issue – preventing them from living fully and freely.  Anton RMT recommends that you get assessed and treated as soon as possible to prevent any further irreversible neuromuscular damage from forming with the limited range of motion.

Functional Range of Motion includes a set of functional muscular and mobility assessment tests combined with the hands-on manipulation, mobilization, myofascial release and intricate massages of musculoskeletal pain, dysfunction or mobility limitation.  Anton RMT provides a Functional Range of Motion technique that primarily focuses on soft tissue manipulation, joint mobilization and a very specific deep tissue massage to reduce muscle tension or joint pain and also to re-enable optimal function and full range of motion back to the local area as well as the anatomy train.

Anton RMT provides a full body assessment for all new patients and existing patients that have not visited the clinic in the last 3-6 months.  This full body assessment contains a battery set of passive and active tests to determine the scope of muscle dysfunction, mobility limitation or the root cause of the pain.  Based on your body’s ability to heal, adjust and recover from an injury, accident or mobility issue – the type of functional range of motion applied may change progressively over the course of the Treatment Plan.
